The classic Negroni at Eight Rooftop Bar in Oslo is very bitter and boozy – nothing creeps up on you here. During my visit on 6 June 2026, the bitterness was the drink’s greatest strength, while the sweetness was less impressive. Despite the boozy impression, the balance was good. The ice was good quality too, but I wasn’t a fan of the glass, which brought down the overall impression. At 220 kr, this was a Negroni with clear strengths, particularly its bitterness, but also room for improvement. The overall rating comes in at 7.1 out of 10.
